This space began with a pool that fills the majority of the area, and a simple patio.

There was a natural slope that demanded a retaining wall and a Corten wall was the perfect answer, providing the area with a raised bed filled with native plants and adapted tropicals. A xeric cactus and succulent garden serves as a focal point at the back door.

Oversized Silver Mist patio stones set in synthetic turf doubles as a pool deck and a path from the back gate to the patio, where we transformed a piece of flatwork concrete into a charming outdoor gas fireplace relaxation space. A composite deck on grade bridges the gap from the pool to the patio.

This tiny yard was once unused and confused, and now brings aesthetic and usefulness to the property
